Mostly located in Llano county it, spills over into Burnet
county. It’s population is estimated to be 6,650 people. A
perfect hideaway on Lake LBJ. Kingsland is 66 miles from
Austin.
Climate: The average annual temperature is 64.7 degrees.
Spring — 65.9, Summer — 80.6, Autumn — 66.4 and Winter 46.1 degrees.
Average rainfall is 26.6 inches and average snowfall is 1.6 inches.
Recreation Facilities: Kingsland is a haven
for outdoor
recreation. Camping facilities, bike riding, fishing, and
hunting is available in the Kingsland area.
Community Facilities: Kingsland hosts an
excellent library, an array of vacation lodges and motels, a medical
clinic with seventeen (17) physicians, nursing homes, an assisted
living facility, ten (10) lodges, two (2) motels, a community center,
a senior center and seven (7) churches. A very active community.

area is served by four (4) Internet providers. Local telephone service
is provided by GTE and long distance from a variety of providers
